Handheld Electricity Meter Reader
Electronics by Design was engaged by Ampy Email Metering to create a handheld electricity meter reader . With a team of specialists with expertise in firmware, hardware and industrial design, we developed a compact, battery-powered handheld reader.
IoT Car Park Controller
Electronics by Design was engaged by Divvy to develop a custom IoT Car Park controller. Working with a team with expertise in operations, IT and embedded hardware development, we developed a controller that could control secure vehicle access in and out of a commercial carpark.
Virtual Technician (VT) Data Logger
 Electronics by Design was engaged by Grosvenor Engineering to develop the VT data logger, a featured packed, economical, battery powered device that monitors HVAC and other mechanical systems.
Duct Node Sensor
Electronics by Design was engaged by Grosvenor Engineering to develop an unobtrusive solution to sense and monitor the health and performance of an air conditioning system. Our team consisted of engineers from various disciplines including HVAC and electrical (BMS).
Indoor Air Quality Monitor
Electronics by Design was engaged by Grosvenor to develop an indoor air quality monitor (iAQM). Working with the Grosvenor Engineering team, Electronics By Design developed a wireless indoor air quality monitoring sensor with 9 sensing parameters.
Minibarmaster
Electronics by Design has developed an innovative, electronic system to record, manage, report and post minibar sales to guest accounts. Minibarmaster features custom software written for an Android handheld for an efficient, cost-saving solution for hotels.
Rainwater Harvesting System Monitoring
Electronics by Design was engaged by Grosvenor Engineering to develop a system to monitor the performance of rainwater harvesting systems to detect failures and losses in performance.
Light Controller
Electronics by Design was engaged by Ilumalite to develop a light controller, to reduce energy usage and cost associated with powering lights in commercial buildings.
iAQM Rollout
Working with the Grosvenor Engineering team, Electronics By Design developed a wireless iAQM, which we then proposed to the Department of Home Affairs to improve their indoor working environments.
